Featured Songfic request. Aaah, this is kinda random but I thought I'd go for it.
After losing a loved one, Thornfeather tries to concentrate on her daily life as a warrior in ThunderClan, but the more she tries to hide her grief, the more she wishes that he was still there with her.

DeadClans: Series 1 Book 1[]
Pouncekit is born to Runningfire and Swoopstrike, along with a sister, Poppykit. Her life would have normal if it wasn't for a curse put on the clans by the Dark Forest. Only one kit can survive from each litter to become an apprentice. The symptoms of the curse is clear, the kit will start to coughing, his/her eyes will turn red, and not long after, they will die. Disaster strikes when Pouncekit begins coughing, and her eyes turn red, but for some reason, she survives. Rejected and renamed, Pouncekit, now Deadkit, becomes an apprentice. Deadpaw is then told by StarClan, to save the clans, she must make her own clan, and destroy the curse.
