I've been wanting to do this for ages. Anyway, this is a reworded version of Owl City's song Fireflies, which I'm sure most of you've heard. On a more grim note, this is about what a warrior sees when he/she joins or sees StarClan.
Starry Skies[]
You would not believe your eyes
If you wandered starry skies
And found great peace as you fell asleep
Your pelt ruffles in the air
Your paws leave stars everywhere
You see your loved ones
But they just stand and stare...
You'd like to make yourself believe
That you'd live a life here, happily
It's hard to say that you'd rather stay
Awake and not asleep,
'Coz StarClan always haunts your dreams
When you fall asleep...
I think I'm losing faith
In hundreds of starry wraiths
As they try to send me a warning sign
A thunder crack in the sky
The dead's voices wandering by,
And if I faint I know I will surely die...
